Shari was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In 1999, she attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado, where she graduated in 2001 as a certified veterinary technician (CVT). From 2001-2010, Shari worked in general practice in Colorado and from 2010-2014, she worked in emergency veterinary medicine in Indiana. In 2014, Shari moved back to Wisconsin where she has continued her work in emergency veterinary medicine. Shari joined the ESO team in September, 2014.
She is married with two children, and has a very friendly rescue dog from Alabama named DeeDee.
